THE EXOMARS ROVER HAS BEEN NAMED ROSALIND FRANKLIN, NAMED AFTER THE BRITISCH CHEMIST, WHO PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN THE DISCOVERY OF THE DNA FROM MEN KIND.
It is a space rover that scientists say could discover life on Mars.
He is right now taking his first steps on its journey to the red planet- leaving Stevenage! it has been put together at an Airbus facility in the herfordshire town over the course of 14 years! with the assembly finally complete it departs yesterday already and will be taken to another Airbus airplane to Toulouse. Here starts the final tests, ahead of the planned sky launch from Baikonur in Kazakhstan next year july 2020. It will be on Mars in 2021!
